Earlier this year the club held a draw from all the junior members for a day's salmon fishing.
Robert Johnstone was lucky selected as the Alness angling club junior club member for the free days fishing on the Coul beat of the river Conon. Head Ghillie John Macaskill looked after him for the day. After instruction from John, Robert caught his first every salmon on the fly from the Clach pool, the fish of 7lb was expertly netted by John. A fantastic day out and great memories
